Since its foundation Hotel Radi un Draugi has been involved in various charity projects to support local people who need it mostly. Up to date the hotel has helped children from underprivileged families and children with disabilities, given an educational support for underprivileged young people and taken part in various kinds of projects dedicated to fostering the heritage of Latvia.
The staff of the hotel is proud that all the gained profit for around 16 years has not been taken out of the country but donated to Latvian people and invested for further development of the hotel. Donated amounts run into many thousands of lats, increasing with each year. Many projects have been realised and many more are planned.
